SHIPPING SNOWMOBILE SHOCKS

How to Prepare your shocks for Shipment

It is very important to follow the procedures below when preparing to ship your shocks to us for service.  This will assist you in putting the shocks back on your machine and make sure you get all the parts back that you sent to us and eliminate any confusion.

  1. For your reference, take photographs of each shock as they are on the snowmobile before packaging them for shipment.  These photographs will help you with reinstallation after we have serviced your shocks.
  1. Clean all shocks thoroughly (a $10 cleaning fee will be charged for dirty shocks)
  1. Remove all unnecessary covers, bolts, linkages, etc.
  1. All loose hardware should be completely removed. We suggest securing eyelets spaces and bearings with a zip-tie to prevent loss during shipment.
  1. We recommend you remove springs if possible* (see video).  We will only need springs sent when we are doing Custom TuningCall tech support to discuss.

*If you are unable to remove springs, that is not a problem.

  1. Wrap each shock individually.

Note: Wrapping shocks in bath towels is a great way to protect them during shipment. You can buy bags of small bath towels at Costco or Sam’s Club.  Ship your shocks wrapped in these, and we will ship them back.  Not only will your shocks stay protected during shipping, but you will also have some nice shop towels!

  1. Pack your wrapped shocks into a new, sturdy, heavy-duty box.  (Keep in mind that we have to open this wrapping and send your shocks back in it.)
  1. Print or fill out our Digital Shipping Form. (If printing the Shipping Form, be sure to include it inside of the box with your shocks.  If using the Digital Shipping Form, please include a note with your name to go inside the box so we can identify your box and contact you.)
  1. Ship shocks to the following address:

Brad’s AC Performance
10199 ROOP ROAD
KINGSLEY, MI 49649-9515
